About the Author
The author is a light-focused artist and the founder of the artistic direction known as Luminalism. His practice lies at the intersection of painting, light installation, and performance. At the core of his work is the interaction between the artwork, light, and the viewer.
Luminalism is an artistic approach in which an image is not static. It emerges and transforms depending on lighting conditions, the surrounding space, and the perception of the viewer. In this way, every person experiences the artwork differently, becoming an active participant in the visual process.
Over the past year, the artist has moved from experimental studio work to creating his own exhibition and gallery space. The project was realized independently — from developing the artworks and installations to organizing the exhibition and conducting more than a thousand live performances and interactions with visitors.
More than a thousand people passed through the exhibition space. The artist’s works were acquired by collectors, and the practice of luminalism attracted attention from artists, educators, and audiences of different generations. The works received a particularly strong response from children, who intuitively interact with light and space.
In his projects, the artist explores themes of light, perception, spatial energy, and the inner state of a person. His works are not simply paintings but systems of interaction between light, material, and the viewer, creating a unique visual experience.
Today luminalism continues to develop as an artistic direction that combines painting, light technologies, and immersive environments.
